Bridge Bulldogs Sweep LearnStorm Challenges for
All Network 1 Schools
Bridge Elementary School, grades 3-8 have excelled and won first place in all three LearnStorm Cup Challenges in all of the
Network 1 schools.
Our students were also competing in a county (Cook, Dupage, Kane, Lake, Will) challenge and we climbed the ladder of success with each cup.
#13 in Mastery and #11 in Hustle points
#5 in Mastery and #3 in Hustle
#3 in Mastery and #2 in Hustle.
We are so proud of our student's focus, perseverance and hard work in attaining this achievement!

Bridge Science Department Chairperson
Named Educator of the Year
Mrs. Tracy Iammartino, our eighth grade science teacher and department chairperson has been named Educator of the Year by the Friends of the Chicago River organization. Mrs. Iammartino received this award in recognition of her dedication to her students and the Chicago River in the past year.
"Tracy is an excellent teacher and has engaged her students in learning about the river in many ways that bring the subject to life." says Mark Hauser, education manager of Friends of the Chicago River. "She helps her students understand nature, science, and the value of the Chicago river. This award is well deserved."
Mrs. Iammartino will receive her award at the 19th Annual Chicago River Student Congress on Saturday, February 20, 2016. Congratulations Mrs. Iammartino!
On September 10, 2014 Bridge Principal Dr. Brake along with eight other CPS principals was honored at the Chicago City Council meeting. The nine principals were recognized as some of the city's highest performing principals at the 9/10/14 event. Dr Brake pictured above with Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel received an honorary resolution from the Mayor acknowledging the high achievement occurring in our schools. Dr. Brake gave full credit to the hard-working staff, students and families of the Bridge School family. Dr. Brake stated that great people make great schools and that's why "We are Bridge!"
